Globber Helmet recall

Below are the products affected, for sale between 1.10.25 and 12.12.25. Product purchased after 23.12.25 is not affected.

We are recalling these helmets, as they don’t comply with the mandatory standard for products containing button/coin batteries, as it they be missing a button cell battery warning sticker, which details:
- the dangers of button/coin batteries to children
- what to do when a person suspects someone has swallowed or placed a button/coin battery inside any part of their body.
The hazards to consumers
Children are at risk of choking, severe internal burn injuries or death if they swallow or place button or coin batteries inside their bodies. Serious injury can occur in as little as 2 hours and the results can be fatal. In Australia, children have suffered serious injuries or died from swallowing button/coin batteries. If you suspect a child has swallowed or inserted a button/coin battery: Call Triple Zero (000) if your child is bleeding or having any difficulty breathing, OR Call the Poisons Information Centre immediately on 13 11 26, available 24 hours a day. They can direct you to an appropriate medical facility. Early action can save lives. Do not wait for symptoms to develop.
The helmet, the button cell battery and casing itself, is compliant with Australian Government regulations.

Warning stickers & how to apply instructions have been mailed on 18.12.25 to ALL people who have purchased an affected helmet via the Globber site.
If you have not received your stickers, please contact us via the chat on this website, and we can resend.
If this is your first update on the recall, and you have purchased one of these helmets from a retailer, please let us know your chosen remedy below:
- I am aware that this is simply a case of a missing sticker, and the product is fully fit for purpose without defect. Please send 2 stickers and instructions, and I will apply the labels to the helmet and any residual packaging I may have – I can then continue to use the product
OR
2. Please provide a full refund. I will provide a photo of the helmet with straps cut via the chat on this site, or to [email protected], to indicate I will not be using the helmet any further, since I am refusing the option to apply the sticker.
